Created between 2014–2018, these bodies of work explored the intersection of analog photography and digital technology through the use of film, alternative photographic processes, chemical manipulations, and digital reconstructions. Embracing imperfections such as glitches, light leaks, distortions, and material deterioration, the work investigates themes of memory, impermanence, and transformation. Physical interventions are layered, and reconfigured, resulting in hybrid images that blur the boundaries between photography, painting, and abstraction while examining the evolving relationship between obsolete processes and contemporary image-making technologies.
