"Los hogares de mi mishpucha" explores the homes of my extended family through marriage. While my visits to Guatemala are a homecoming for my husband and an introduction to my child's cultural roots, they have also become something deeply personal. The family I entered through marriage has welcomed me with a generosity that extends far beyond acceptance. Over time, their history, traditions, and daily lives have become intertwined within my memories. These photographs mark the beginning of my personal archive in Guatemala—a record of belonging, kinship, and the homes that have become part of my own story.
